You may walk in to our West Chicago office between the hours of 9am and 5pm. You may also call or email us any time to schedule an appointment. A fee may be charged if a consultation requires review of contracts or other legal documents. Please bring any relevant documents to your consultation.
Permanent Residence Consultations
To prepare for our permanent residence consultations, please download our consultation intake form, fill it out and bring it with you to your appointment.
If you are seeking a consultation about becoming an American citizen please download the naturalization consultation form, fill it out and bring it with you to your appointment.
Also please bring your passport, visa/ I-94, green card (if any) and copies of any previous applications or decisions you have received from the USCIS (formerly INS).
Employment Related Consultations
To prepare for our Employment related consultation, if you are the employee, please bring a copy of your personnel file, copies of any contracts, offer letters, relevant correspondence or handbooks in your possession.
If you do not have your personnel file yet, you may be entitled under Illinois law to a copy of your personnel file for one year after the end of your employment. You just need to make the request in writing, and the former employer is to respond within seven working days. It is helpful, but not required, to request a copy of this file and to bring it with you to your consultation.
